Date for the diary – Annual Parish Meeting Tues 23rd May

Annual Parish Meeting for Ruyton XI Towns Parish

When: Tues 23rd May at 6.30pm

Where: Victoria Room, Little Ness Road.

Who: Everyone is welcome to attend – local electors, members of the public, and the press (though only local electors can take part in votes). We’d particularly love to hear from other local groups and organisations, so if you would like to share an update on what your group has been up to over the last 12 months, please get in touch with the Parish Council clerk.

What: The Annual Parish Meeting is organised by the Parish Council, but it is generally a bit more informal and relaxed than a Council Meeting (it is sometimes referred to as the parish AGM). Come join us on Tues 23rd to hear about what has been going on with local organisations and working groups, including the Parish Council, St John’s School, Village Hall Committee, and more. This year’s Annual Parish Meeting Agenda can be found here, and electors can also raise matters for consideration and vote on local issues in the public session. Any resolutions passed will be shared with the Parish Council for further consideration.

Why: It’s a good excuse to get out, meet up with your fellow parishioners, and hear about what’s going on in the local community, as well as raise issues that matter to you. You may even be inspired to join one of the many local groups that are active in Ruyton.

Hope to see many of you on the 23rd!
