Digital Skills Programme: Free help to get online and make the most of the internet

Shropshire Council is supporting 3,000 residents to learn to use technology safely through The Digital Skills Programme. The service has 25 digital hubs across the area for people who need help to use their laptops, mobile phones or tablets and get the most out of the internet. Learning slowly, taking small steps and having the time to practice are keys to success.

The programme is delivered by friendly digital volunteers and staff based within Shropshire Libraries, local community organisations and Enable, the council’s supported employment service. Free data and devices are available for those in greatest need.
