Son of John and Emma of 2 Elbridge Houses, and Ruyton Towers Farm, Ruyton XI Towns
Brother to Annie, Agnes, Godfrey and Leonard (who also served)
He and his Father were both Gamekeepers and he worked at Petton Park at Baschurch

He was killed in Action by enemy shelling, on the 14th March 1917 age 25
Remembered in Laventie Military Cemetery, La Gorgue, France
